Direct answer
Use the standalone Steam Demo to try Corsair Cove. The full 1.0 release is listed for PC Game Pass, while the Xbox page describes a PC-only free trial/subscription route.
A separate Steam Demo listing provides a legal trial path. Official launch material also records PC Game Pass availability; the Xbox storefront labels its trial and subscription access as PC only.
Standalone Demo
The Demo has its own Steam app page and is the clearest official trial entry point.
- The listing advertises basic building, production, fleet and quest coverage.
- Demo scope should not be assumed to equal the full 1.0 game.
PC subscription access
GamesPress says the 1.0 launch entered PC Game Pass. The Xbox listing uses PC-only wording for its free trial and subscription capabilities.
